3D Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP)
Vibrometric performed more than 200 3D VSP surveys for characterizing hardrock sites, mine sites, storage facilities and waste disposal sites.

Multi boreholes, multi-azimuths VSPs at the Jwaneng Mine, Botswana

Early Access Shaft area characterization has been done by multi-line 2D and VSP surveys. The focus was on structural features that influence the position selection of the shaft. Ten 2D Lines ranging from 1.2 to 2.5 km, 13 km in total were acquired. 8 levels, 3-components VSP acquisition of all 2D lines was done. 3D VSP acquisition by 80 receivers, from 20 shot points.

Kimberlite Dyke Delineation, at the Snap Lake Mine, NT, Canada

Tens of multi-offset, multi-azimuth VSP surveys were done at the Olkiluoto Nuclear Waste Repository Site, Finland

3D reflection and 3D VSP structural mapping was progressively achieved, with finer and finer detail characterization over more than two decades of surveying and multi-disciplinary data interpretation and integration.

VSP investigations were used for permafrost characterization from shallow boreholes in Northern Quebec, Canada
